**TechOps Administrative and Operations Associate**

Our client is a pioneer in Drug Discovery and Development and one of the frontrunners in Personalised Healthcare. As the world's largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally.

We are currently looking for a TechOps Administrative and Operations Associate for a **12-month contract (with possibility for extension) based in Basel, Switzerland**.

Reporting to the Manager TechOps Admin and Operations the TechOps Administrative and Operations Associate is responsible for the global execution of operational activities supporting the Technical Operations department (TechOps).

In this role, you will be a key support for TechOps teams by being responsible for the operational management of the purchasing process in support of these development activities. The scope of work includes close working relationship with the technical teams whereby translating & summarizing the project requirements into purchasing requirements including purchase order management (creation of PO with associated documentation), goods receipt, inventory management and invoices compliance for the department.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**_ Development_**
- Validate and complete purchase requisitions and turn into orders (PO)
- Monitor and follow up on PO’s (e.g., late delivery, scope change management, complaints) in COUPA
- and SAP
- Manage goods receipts, control of timely delivery of goods and services
- Manage and maintain batch oversight in terms of value, amount and location
- Manage periodical batch reconciliation
- Point of contact for warehouses & CMOs stock management

**_Business Support_**
- Manage payment schedule and the invoice reconciliation
- Prepare and support the budgeting process
- Manage quarterly updates and latest estimates
- Support the categorization of the global supplier portfolio of Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO)
- Oversight of contracts archiving/filing like Master Service Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements
- Initiate Business Key Performance Indicators
- Manage Business Master Data
- Manage shipment request form

**_Administrative Support_**
- Assist the TechOps Admin & Operations manager in drafting Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
- Assist the TechOps Admin & Operations in transactions within Veeva (CORS)
- Organize & collect e-signature with AdobeSign
- Assist the TechOps Admin & Operations in training organisation, event, and budget preparation

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **_Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required_**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry either within R&D, manufacturing, supply chain environment or direct procurement and GxP requirements
- Experience in the overall pharmaceutical development process over the whole product life cycle, from phase 1 up to and including launch and beyond is of advantage
- Ability to adapt effectively to rapidly changing and dynamic environment
- Excellent written & oral communication skills in English required
- Professional usage of Software tools like e.g. EXCEL, SAP (S/4HANA), COUPA, Veeva is desirable
- Willingness to learn new tools and procedures
- Process and solution oriented with a strong customer focus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
- High degree of flexibility and the ability to work calmly under pressure within the rapidly changing nature of the business and the dynamic market conditions
