Commercial Excellence & Sales Controlling Director (M/F/d)
This role will strengthen the senior management and commercial organization across the regions by increasing our capabilities to drive profitable growth opportunities and optimizing our sales efforts.
This role will support usage of tools and implement processes to foster commercial excellence (pricing, costing, contract management, negotiation, VoC) across Metal Europe commercial organization that drive sustainable revenue and margin growth in short, mid and long run.
This role will form part of the Metal Beverage Finance team with responsibility for overseeing and managing the end-to-end operational Sales controlling business planning and analysis for the Metal Beverage business in Europe.
It is aimed to maximize synergies by combining Commercial Excellence and Sales Controlling activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop a process/systems/tools to monitor efficiently market trends and evolution, competition development (strategy, investment, pricing strategy, cost per ‘000) : BevMod / TCO
Contribute to define market segmentation, AMPE choices and USP
Develop a pricing strategy by market segment following our overall commercial strategy
Develop with commercial team a pricing strategy by key account during yearly strategic planning cycle to be ready for upcoming key customer decisions and global tender response
Develop Global Tender framework to response on specific price offers in the bandwidth of pre-defined pricing strategy
Lead response to Global Tender and ensure it is in line with our pricing strategy
Support Sales with argumentations, analysis and information to justify price and volume development during negotiations.
Develop regional pricing strategy in cooperation with regional management and ensure alignment with company strategy
Develop response on specific price offers in the bandwidth of pre-defined pricing strategy
Develop Pricing Process and implement process in all regions
Develop standardized Pricing Logic across the region.
Lead implementation and ensure the maintenance and use of the pricing process and system
Develop global framework and process to understand cost inflation mechanism, potential choices in terms of price increases mechanism (PPI index, cost inflation coverage, PPI, PT, hedging FX/Alu LME/Alu premium/Energy/Fuel/Steel,), commodity risk management
Ensure a proper contracts management process/system (contract framework with minimum mandatory clauses, contract renewal process, CMS, etc)
Develop global framework and process to optimize customer and product portfolio based on standard margin
Develop the process of answering tenders and price negotiation to optimize network, capacity and margin especially taking into account different timing horizon between Key Accounts and Regional customers
Support reporting & IFPA department to ensure reliable forecasts (volumes/price & costs incl. Capital & Cash flow effects)
Support reporting & IFPA department to ensure timely, accurate and complete monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements with related analysis
Coordination of sales targets, potential cost savings and rationalization projects
Follow up on level of achievement and identify + support implementation of corrective measures where needed
Drive continuous improvements (process/projects/tools) and standardisation/harmonisation
Support Sales and Data & Reporting Team to identify, develop and monitor KPI's/Cockpit reports to ensure group wide transparency and governance across the regions
**What you offer**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

**Experience with**: sales process, controlling, strategic thinking, planning, business case management, scenario planning, and financial evaluation of investment decision
Advanced English, other European languages are a plus
