Business Process Excellence Manager

**Responsibilities**:
The Business Process Excellence (BPE) Manager helps develop and execute the plans that will allow us to realize our vision for business process excellence - namely, ‘to be the company recognized as the leader in how business gets done.’ Well run business processes and systems/tools can accelerate profitable growth by empowering and enabling people to make better, faster choices (while reducing the individual burden required to make those choices). The BPE Manager will lead the businesses on this transformation journey by building the key capabilities (processes, people and systems / tools) needed to deliver their strategies, goals and priorities.
What you do:
The BPE Manager plays a key role in effectively translating transformation goals and strategies into Division and Product Leadership execution plans. He or she leads the transformation journey in partnership with business leaders by building key capabilities needed to deliver business outcomes.
Specifically, the BPE Manager:
- Partners with business leaders to co-develop, enable, influence, and support Business transformation priorities
- Act as the Business Process Excellence Leader for the business bringing process management to Divisional Leadership Team (DLT) choices. Acts as BOM2.0 governance for the enterprise (business process improvement) and holds the full cross-functional DLT accountable
- Demonstrates business acumen to understand the business challenges and influence strategic business choices to deliver on financial expectations
- Creates a respectful, inclusive environment where all team members contribute and do their best work:

- Development of leadership capability and high performing teams within organization
- Proactively voices different ideas and manages conflict constructively
- Creates team focus and alignment through clear, outcome-based goals

- As directed by the DLT or SBU LT, leads projects or initiatives important to the Business (e.g. Project ACE)
- Facilitates Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and Division Leadership Team meetings.
- Utilizes change management processes and tools to realize business process excellence and ensure changes “stick” in a way that accelerates profitable growth (including ongoing mentoring and coaching)
- Communicates within and across functions and businesses for alignment on priorities and commercial results
- Shares effective business practices across divisions
What you don’t do:
- Run the P&L for a business
- Execute corporate portfolio improvement projects
- Develop and/or deliver process improvement training
- Steward Eastman’s process improvement methodologies
**Qualifications**:
Your background & qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field
- 5+ years relevant work experience (internal)
- Commercial or Functional leadership experience
- Experience leading initiatives of high complexity with a diversity of stakeholders
