**Global Operational Excellence Lead**

This position reports into VP MAKE Automation, Sciences & Technology (MAKE AS&T) and is based in Zug, Switzerland.

**What You Will Do**

The MAKE Automation, Sciences & Technology (MAKE AS&T) is a global functional pillar of Kenvue Global Value Chain (GVC) Organization. It is the technical and operational excellence backbone of Kenvue Operations, providing Technical Ownership and Executional Excellence.

The Global Operational Excellence Lead owns MAKE functional excellence Production Standards (PS) as well as the E2E Operating System (OS) Standards, including principles, practices, and processes for current and future models.

She/he leads a team of three Operational Excellence experts located in Americas and APAC that drive consistent adoption of the standards across the network of internal and external manufacturing sites with the aim of continuously improving reliability, cost efficiency, lead time and manufacturing robustness.

The Operational Excellence team owns the SMART Operations process standard framework of identification and agile and innovative deployment of scalable MVPs across different supply chain nodes.

The global leader ensures that the regions in scope have the capacity and capability to efficiently execute the improvement projects & deliver on the targeted benefits in line with the implementation plan, based on standard diagnostic processes. The incumbent also ensures the effectiveness of the Production/Operating System (PS/OS) across all sites in the global network by orchestrating Effectiveness Health Checks ensuring resources are capable, trained, and qualified, and addressing any gaps identified.

The leader oversees that the standards are applied consistently across all regions through global governance. While focus is on the internal network of sites, there is an increasing effort to bring external manufacturing partner sites to the same standard.

The Global Operational Excellence Lead is the Process Owner for Proven Practice deployment across the Manufacturing network, engaging the regional MAKE and MAKE Quality Production System leaders and making them accountable to drive the sharing and adoption of good practices. The position also plays a primary role in benchmarking the continuous improvement program with external companies.

**What We Are Looking For**

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education: BS / BA, Other: MBA or other Post graduate degree, 12+ years in Operational Excellence (Manufacturing and Supply Chain) is required.
- Site lead experience, passion for continuous improvement, technical knowledge, respected and proven ability to partner / challenge senior stakeholders.
- Available for Continental and International travel up to 25%.
- The incumbent is a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Continuous Improvement and Process Excellence methodologies applied in manufacturing and supply chain (eg. Lean, Six Sigma, statistical process control, value stream mapping, Zero Defect, Total Productivity Maintenance, WCM ). The leader is an expert in the Production and Operation Standard Design, Architecture and Content.
- Blended experienced in the FMCG / Pharmaceutical sectors, Operational Excellence design & implementation / Supply Chain excellence / Lean, Black Belt Certified
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain industry benchmark
- Leadership, business communication/storytelling, diplomacy/influencing/championing, and collaboration skills are required.
- Proven track record delivering against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators (KPIs) is required.
- Ability to influence and understand the diverse needs of stakeholders is required.
- Leader management experience and talent development is required.
- Experience leading a large, global organization is required.

**Desired Qualifications**
- MBA is preferred.
- Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams through organizational change and transformation is preferred.
