Due to an internal promotion, we are now hiring a BACC Lead for our Travel Retail Worldwide organization, based in Wollerau Switzerland.

**Job Description**:
Travel Retail (TR) is Estee Lauder’s fastest growing region led by the marquee brands Estée Lauder, La Mer, MAC, Clinique, Tom Ford and Jo Malone. Travel Retail spreads across 65 markets with key geographies covering TR APAC, TR EMA and TR Americas.

The TR BACC (Business Analytics Competency Center) is the centralized decision support team that brings data-based insights to its stakeholders through robust analysis using sophisticated statistical tools based on the team’s wide range of skills and capabilities in the areas of data science, data analysis and data engineering and supported by an agile project management framework.

The TR BACC serves a wide array of customers, ranging from general management, commercial and (digital) marketing teams, finance as well as supply chain.

In this role, you will have three main areas of responsibility:
1. Project delivery & Strategy:

- Oversees the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, including project management, stakeholder communication, and full delivery of projects from scoping to post-go-live hyper care
- Is knowledgeable about market trends and future capabilities and advises on how these can support Travel Retail
- Defines strategy to make advanced analytics available to TR - both to support leadership as well as to support in-process decision making.
- Advises stakeholders, providing pro-active ideas and solutions to solve business problems
- Collaborates with IT to ensure alignment with corporate technology guidelines

2. Team management:

- Leads a team of experts in data and analytics
- Acts as a motivating and inspiring leader, evangelize and enable a data culture
- Creates an environment which clearly translates the business strategy and objectives into a culture of continuous improvement, delivery of results and change management

3. Stakeholder Coordination:

- Aligns with IT data & analytics, OneSource and third-party vendors for everything from visualization projects to harder analytics topics
- Collaborates with the TR BIA training and adoption lead to develop a sustainable training and education model to introduce new analytical capabilities to the business

Additionally, you will represent TR in global initiatives and projects - both internal and external - and work with global teams on continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who brings:

- Master’s degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or any other related quantitative field or equivalent working experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Data Science and Cloud Solution
- Strong knowledge about modern analytical concepts in the areas of data science, reporting, data modeling, data access and security, data privacy, technology, cloud and DevOps principles
- Understanding of the processes in sales, (digital) marketing, supply chain and/or finance.
- Very strong organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills and a first experience leading a team is required
- Strategic thinking, while being a great team player
