What you do here
The «Team Leader Supply Planning GTR / DIS» is responsible for the holistic and aligned volume planning of the production locations and for the disciplinary leadership of allocated employees. The holder of the position acts as one of the central links in the S&OP process. It is expected by the function that:
product availability for the divisions GTR / DIS is ensured efficiently
challenges such as over
- or understock are recognized and addressed early
the demand plan is made plausible and transferred to the production company
commercial assumptions are scrutinized if appropriate.

The «Team Leader Supply Planning GTR / DIS» collaborates very closely as a business partner with the departments Demand Planning, Customer Service & Export, Sales, Marketing, and Finance / Controlling. Furthermore, the role is responsible for the strategy to optimize the procurement process.

**Key responsibilities**:
Operative and administrative leadership of the department Supply Planning GTR / DIS
Disciplinary and technical supervision of the team
Definition and communication of individual targets for the assigned employees
Definition and communication of the department's targets, resp. development of a mid
- and long-term strategic direction of the department Supply Planning GTR / DIS, aligned with the supervisor
Interface function to other departments and interdisciplinary collaboration
Promotion of information exchange within the team and the assigned area of responsibility
Design and implementation of operative guidelines and process adjustments
Support of the production locations for procurement planning and inbound logistics
Supply of products on time and in the right quantity under consideration of Intercompany guidelines and with performance measurement
Preparation and execution of supply
- and pre-S&OP meetings with the respective production including the demand planning department
When you fit in with us
Basic commercial education and / or continued education in Supply Chain Management
Holistic understanding of the different Supply Chain processes
Leadership experience in a similar position
Sound experience in methodology and principles of demand
- and supply planning
Distinct knowledge in reporting systems, including advanced knowledge of Excel
Very good English skills, orally and in writing; German skills of great advantage
Very good knowledge of SAP modules MM and SD, also of SAP BI
Very good MS Office
- and SAP ERP user knowledge
Very high communication skills and team ability
Networked and analytical thinking; solution-oriented, responsible, and precise way of working
