About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Development Manager to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across global markets. This role involves managing projects, aligning stakeholders, and embedding project management capabilities within the organization.
You will oversee operational efficiency, digital, and growth initiatives, among others, ensuring they stay on track and deliver measurable impact. A key part of your role will be to train local teams in project management methodologies to build long-term execution capability.
The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in corporate project management and business development within a multinational company. They should possess a broad skill set that allows them to manage diverse projects effectively, rather than being an expert in just one area. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential, and a good understanding of end-to-end operations would be a valuable plus. A mix of in-house project leadership and some consulting experience is preferred.
We are looking for someone who is pragmatic, results-oriented, and has a systematic approach to project management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define, Lead & Oversee Strategic Initiatives
    • Together with the Senior Management define and plan the group strategic choices and initiatives related to the 2030 growth ambition.
    • Lead and manage global strategic projects across various functions and countries, covering topics like supply chain, digital transformation, innovation, quality, commercial operations, and organizational development. Ensure high-quality results within tight deadlines.
    • Establish project planning, governance, and alignment with long-term business priorities.
    • Implement structured project management methodologies to drive execution consistency.
    • Proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure accountability across teams.
  2. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Act as the central coordination point between countries and global functions including global lead of the GenAI Task Force.
    • Ensure clear alignment on priorities, resources, and execution timelines.
    • Build strong relationships across the organization to foster collaboration and problem-solving.
  3. Develop Project Management Capabilities
    • Coach local teams in project management best practices to ensure sustainable execution.
    • Lead "train the trainer" programs to develop in-house project management champions.
    • Embed a culture of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  4. Communication Group Strategy
    • Provide clear, structured updates to key stakeholders on the long-term strategic choices and ensure strategic initiatives are well-communicated and understood across the entire group.
    • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate strategic project management, business development, or change leadership.
  • Certification in project management, with a pragmatic approach and hands-on experience in managing and executing projects.
  • A mix of in-house project leadership and consulting experience.
  • Proven track record in leading, coordinating, and governing complex global projects with the ability to bring clarity and priority in an ambiguous environment.
  • Broad business background with strong knowledge of end-to-end operations, efficiency improvement, and growth initiatives.
  • Proven successful stakeholder management, strong collaboration, and strategic thinking
  • Independent and self-driven with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working in a global, decentralized and/or matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
