What you do here
The «Demand Planner GTR / DIS» is responsible for the integrated and aligned volume planning for the allocated sales markets.
The holder of the position acts as one of the central link in the S& OP Process and develops in close collaboration with sales an integrated demand plan, which will then be set as rolling forecast in a fine-tuning session with Finance/Controlling and supply planning.
Commercial assumptions should be questioned when necessary and the “demand Planner GTR/DIS” works very close with the Sales team, Finance/Controlling, Marketing, Supply Planning and Customer Service & Export.

Customer support & operational tasks

Support of the sales markets as per assignment with regards to demand planning
Managing and moderating of planning meetings (internal/external) as well as analysis and preparations for planning bases
Planning and Execution of process optimizations for demand planning
Identification of root causes for inaccurate forecasts
Product lifecycle management - PNE, exclusive products, Phase in/Phase out
Support for ad-hoc sales activities
Collaboration with customers with regards to downstream visibility

Projects

Execution of small projects and initiatives for enhancing the performance of the department, as well as cooperation in cross-functional projects when indicated

Well-founded experience in the methodology and principles of demand and supply planning
Distinctive knowledge in reporting, including advance Excel skills

**Language skills**: Fluency in German and English is mandatory
Good knowledge in MS-Office & SAP-ERP systems
Strong communication skills and a good teamplayer
Strong analytical and cross-linked thinking
