**What You’ll Do**

As the Purchasing Shared Services Business Partner EMEA, you will work with various (senior) stakeholders (suppliers, sourcing, business management, requisitioners, PSS peers) at various levels and a wide range of complex issues.

You will bridge the two worlds of purchasing and business in an authoritative manner while charting the direction forward, achieving agreement & consensus within the purchasing & business communities.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Act as partner and advisor to all P2P matters (liaison between customer, sourcing, supplier and PSS) for all locations/units within the region
- Lead customer management meetings (with site management) in close alignment with PSS SPOCs and sourcing (‘showing one face to the customer’)
- Maintain customer communication map (e.g. meeting structure and contact persons)
- Develop, agree & document an action plan where the interests of all stakeholders in the P2P process are captured
- Build consensus & awareness on the functional P2P process and purchasing channels within the business and service units based on global standards
- Provide data analytics/dashboards to stakeholders to optimize the P2P and sourcing processes
- Initiate programs & projects towards PSS and TS, co-ordinate small changes in line with the agreed plan and evaluate, prioritize & authorize requests for changes in P2P Process
- Drive innovation of purchasing within the functional domain in close alignment with other PSS Regional Business Partners
- Manage risks by identifying, assessing, communicating & reducing to tolerated level. Maintain an inventory of risk for the function.

**You bring**
- University graduate education level. Masters level beneficial.
- In-depth knowledge of business processes in the functional P2P area
- Extensive experience of P2P process solution design & implementation
- Extensive cross process integration at different types of organizations and different hierarchy levels
- Customer facing roles experience
- Project and Program Management skills
- Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts and key master data in the function concerned
- Demonstrated consulting skills and Change Management Competencies
- Fluent in English and additional local languages are an advantage

**About us**

The Purchasing Shared Services Business Partner EMEA acts as a strategical and tactical interface between the Purchasing Shared Service Center, Group Sourcing and the Business/Service units of DSM with the aim to align and optimize processes, relationship management, risk management and solution finding.

The Purchasing Shared Services organization annually deals with 350.000 PO items related to all Indirect goods and services and 600.000 invoices and 150.000 tickets for DSM globally. Employees within PSS are responsible for small value buying with a total value of €100M. To ensure that the entire Purchase to Pay process runs smoothly, PSS interacts with multiple stakeholders: requisitioners, site management teams, suppliers, Finance, Sourcing and the business/service units on a global scale.
