The Marketing Partnerships department manages UEFA’s Sponsor and Licensing commercial partnerships, providing industry-leading client service while ensuring the full and seamless delivery of all contractual rights and obligations. We strive to streamline and enhance processes, build meaningful relationships, and continuously increase value. The aim is to amplify UEFA’s global base through innovative new products and experiential platforms. It is our ability to translate emerging trends into opportunities for fan engagement - including e-sports and experiential venues - that allows us to regularly increase fan interaction, while delivering added exposure, activations and value for commercial partners.
**The role**:
As Marketing Partnerships Executive, you will be integral to the delivery of sponsor and licensing partnerships across UEFA men’s club competitions, providing client servicing to the highest industry standards. You will report to the Marketing Partnerships Manager.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of UEFA men’s club competitions sponsor and licensing partnerships, ensuring best in class delivery of 360-degree marketing campaigns and licensing programmes
- Working alongside partners’ activation agencies and licensees to ensure that contractual rights and obligations are delivered to the highest standard
- Managing a wide range of competition related approvals for commercial partners. Ranging from onsite experiential activations and digital campaign materials to the approval of licensed products
- Fulfilling important administrative and operational tasks, crucial to the delivery of contractual rights
- Coordinating digital campaigns to ensure efficient and cost effective delivery
- Playing a key role at UEFA men’s club competition Finals each season, including the coordination of fan festival activations, guest experience programmes and overall activity coordination and management
- Preparing and inputting towards a wide range of regular reports for UEFA - ranging from sales and royalty reports to regular status reports on commercial partner rights usage
You have experience or can demonstrate a keen interest in sports marketing, sponsorship and/or licensing. Knowledge of digital marketing and how commercial partners can best exploit it, would be an advantage.
It is important that you can efficiently manage projects and your time and are capable of balancing multiple tasks and prioritising them accordingly. Likewise, you can communicate effectively and present your ideas with ease, understanding the importance of putting clients first and delivering work to the highest standards. Finally, your team-player attitude and proactive approach will allow you to offer new ideas and add value to UEFA’s men’s club competitions marketing programme.
