About the role
This position is responsible for driving market growth and share by systematically building and enhancing Cochlear’s relationship with healthcare professionals and supporting the EMEA region in developing the right strategy, tools and materials to maximize commercial success of products and services.
You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns for our products and services to Hearing Implant professionals, both Surgeon & Audiologists, in the EMEA market. You will also collaborate across the organization to ensure alignment and consistency of our brand message and value proposition.
By leveraging clinical data, journal articles, competitive intelligence and collaborating closely with regional sales, clinical and marketing teams, the professional marketing manager will act as the champion of Cochlear's professional partners throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing plans and tactics for new and existing campaigns and products including positioning, messaging and distribution. You will create and deliver compelling marketing materials and content, inclusive of ads, brochures, flyers, videos, case, studies, testimonials and web and social media content to support product awareness, education and adoption amongst professionals.
You will also but not exclusively also:
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external partners, such as sales, product marketing, clinical, professional education, digital, as well as 3rd party service providers, conference organizers, professional associations, key opinion leaders and media to ensure alignment and coordination of marketing efforts and initiatives- Works closely with marketing and product teams to maintain a thorough understanding of all products and services, professional segmentation, industry/advocacy/thought leadership topics, market trends, market research, competitive landscape and growth opportunities influencing the field of hearing implants.- Responsible for managing budgets, calendars and analytics dashboards for relevant projects and reporting back key updates to internal partners.- Establish program for professional lead management, partnering with sales excellence, digital marketing and analytics for SalesForce tracking and sales leadership with vetting/qualifying leads, providing regular updates for process improvements and campaign success metrics.
As Professional Marketing Manager you will also follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and service and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement. Undertake additional quality responsibilities (e.g. audit) when appropriately trained to undertake these responsibilities. You will also contribute with ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables. Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules, and instructions and reporting workplace hazards, incidents or injuries to manager.
Key Requirements- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns for medical device products in the EMEA market.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade diverse audiences.- Creative, analytical, and strategic thinker, with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and SFHC- Fluent English is required, additional languages advantageous
