You are working as a project manager in an international acting packaging team, defining packaging solutions from first prototypes to final products. You will lead projects and initiatives to optimize existing packaging products and find new, innovative solutions to increase efficiency, reduce cost and drive sustainability. To meet timelines for global new product introduction projects you will be responsible for all packaging related topics.

**What does the role involve?**:

- Lead strategic packaging projects on optimization, cost reduction, standardization and sustainability.
- Coordinate and define packaging projects together with external suppliers for new product introduction projects; includes resource, budget and timing responsibility.
- Packaging simulations and cost analysis.
- Documentation and keeping data management systems up to date.
- Ensure knowledge transfer between corporate, business units and plants.

**What you need is**:

- You hold a technical Bachelor’s (or Master’s degree) in packaging/plastics technology or equivalent, with profound knowledge in development, manufacturing and refining processes of different packaging materials
- A proven track record in defining and implementing packaging concepts and first experience in project management
- Good knowledge in testing methods of packaging materials
- You have a proactive style of working and a “getting-things-done” approach and can handle several projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment are equally as important as excellent stakeholder management skills
- You are fluent in English (additional European languages are an asset)
- For non-EU / EFTA citizens: Please state your eligibility status to work in Switzerland/ Liechtenstein and note that if you do not own a valid Swiss/ Liechtenstein work permit, Hilti cannot guarantee your final employment due to authority regulations.
