Intern - Global Supply Strategy Project (M/F/x)

**What's the role?**:
At our largest Business Unit “Power Tools & Accessories”, you will lead a workstream of one of our key strategic supply projects globally. In this role, you will be working alongside experienced strategic supply managers in strategy engagements. As such, you will also have substantial visibility to senior management team and the opportunity to position yourself for a full-time career at Hilti.

Start date is flexible to the student's availability (ideally July), duration for at least 6 months

**What does the role involve?**:
As intern in our department you’ll be part of a small diverse-profile strategic team that executes strategic sourcing programs with direct link to the Business unit strategy. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop a selected workstream of one of our strategic projects. In this role, you will also have significant exposure to the senior vice president who leads the area.

Your key responsibilities will be to create an automated reporting system for the supply department reflecting the key performance and activity indicators of the global supply teams; create analytical reports for the managers to facilitate steering of global supply teams.

We spend over one billion Swiss francs a year on indirect materials & services globally. Management attention is high and we seek to deliver above expectations.

**What you need is**:

- Enrolled in Master's program in Engineering, Logistics/ Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business Administration or similar for the whole internship period
- Fluency in English
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
- A strategic approach and good problem-solving skills
- Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Access, and other data analytical tools would be a plus
