The Global Client Team is responsible for the client related elements of Julius Baer’s strategic agenda on a global scale: Client segments, Global Sales Management, Client Communities and Front Transformation. After the implementation of first sales management elements with global relevance, the team has received the mandate to build up the operational value stream (OVS) “Sales & Opportunity Management” in context of the bank’s overall Agile Transformation. The objective is to establish a fully agile and cross-functional sales management framework over time, which includes all process steps along the entire client life cycle, aiming at achieving a superior client experience, increasing sales effectiveness and improving the productivity of Front teams.
As part of this effort, we are looking for a Product Manager with relevant experience in Sales Management who will build up and lead the future cross-functional OVS. We are a highly motivated, agile team that is keen in adding value by supporting the organisation in making the difference for our clients.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Build up and manage the OVS as a cross-functional team of sales management specialists across regions and divisions
- Accountability for end-to-end agile sales framework across the organisation
- Responsibility for epics implementation as well as development of PI vision and roadmap
- Define content and prioritization of the OVS backlog in order to meet OKRs
- Manage dependencies across OVSs with specific focus on sales management supporting tools and systems
- Own and implement globally relevant sales management elements (operational ownership)
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and implement adequate change management measures
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- University degree/FH in Economics, Finance or Business Administration, a CFA or CAIA would be a plus
- 10+ years of professional experience in the Wealth Management/banking industry and excellent understanding of the entire client value chain
- Proven track record in the design of sales management processes and their implementation, ideally in Private Banking business, and profound knowledge of sales supporting tools and processes
- Very good understanding of Private Banking products
- Hands-on leadership experience with strong interpersonal skills and very good understanding of lean-agile leadership with a strong customer-centric approach and people-oriented mindset
- Practical experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile frameworks and respective tools (e.g. JIRA) as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner would be a plus
- Strong sense for strategic topics and visionary, forward-looking mindset
- Strong analytics and investigation skills, combined with the ability to resolve issues conceptually in a demanding and challenging environment
- Experience in people management, natural team player, hands-on personality with can-do attitude, strong drive to lead change
- Able to deliver high quality results with a positive and influential style
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at any seniority level
- Strong organisation skills and structured workstyle
- Highly motivated with a positive, pragmatic and integrative personality
- Fluency in English, German would be a plus
