In this role you will be responsible to adapt and implement sales support strategy for designated area in accordance with the global support strategy with specific focus on pre-sales support to achieve order placement. Ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Oversee estimations and bids and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. Proactively lead, develop and coach the related Pre-Sales Support team and Sales Support Specialist Pre-Sales.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Products: Owns technical knowledge about all PCP products and product strategies. Has deep knowledge about the control systems Harmony/Infi90, Symphony Plus Operations and Engineering, Symphony Plus Harmony Rack, Symphony Plus Symphony DIN. Be able to present and explain the benefits of our PCP products using the PCP demo systems.
- Customer focus: In this case customers are the colleagues from the Divisions. Supports all pre-sales customer activities (price & availability, quote status, pre-sales technical questions, etc.). Pro-active communication with the sales team and other internal functions to guarantee customer satisfaction by providing all relevant information.
- Support request handling: Track, investigate, find solution, and answer technical questions and support requests (cases) from the Divisions during sales phase related to all PCP products. Target is to provide technical solutions as soon as possible, to unload the Product and Product Line Managers from this daily work, to improve the solution quality and to track the cases for further root cause analysis and product improvements. Be the inter-face between the Divisions and the product organization especially to the Product Managers and Product Line Managers. Additionally, deliver support and product presentations to end customers and channel partners and participate in events, shows, and exhibitions on request basis from Divisions.
- Interface to Product Management: Provide feedback to the product managers of the various PCP products based on the sales support requests from the divisions to improve the product quality.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Automation Field, experience in Distributed Control Systems or other
- related experience
- Deep knowledge about the control systems Harmony/Infi90, Symphony Plus Operations and Engineer-ing, Symphony Plus Harmony Rack, Symphony Plus Symphony DIN
- Fluent in written and oral English
- Team player
