**Head Strategy, Business Development and Marketing**:

Lead the definition and continuous update of business strategy in collaboration with the leadership team. Act as a sparring partner for the President on strategic topics. Lead and contribute to complex business development projects and/or strategic planning. Enable the implementation of the business strategy and plans according to the division mandate. Identify inorganic options and support the active management of the business portfolio. Proactively challenge the status quo and offer alternative scenarios to foster the relevance and value creation ability of the business.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategy: ensures that value creating, and granular strategy is in place, communicated and executed, including following areas: portfolio performance management, M&A activities on buy and sell side, ventures and strategic partnerships, M&A capability development and senior oversight of cross BA projects.
- Business development: ensures that realistic and ambitious business plans are in place, define clear accountabilities and set up for successful execution. Overall accountability for following areas: strategic bets: governance, target setting, follow up and coaching, business intelligence, incubation of internal business ideas and start up collaborations.
- Sustainability: leads the sustainability strategy development and the successful execution across the business area, including the direction, objectives and governance.
- Act as thought leader and key advocate for sustainability in Business Area leadership team.
- Implementation and target setting for Sustainability KPIs.
- Actively collaborate with other functions
- Marketing: leads the Marketing function of Motion including: Marketing and sales operations, front end training - Motion academy, eCommerce, Business processes (lead generation, OMS, Marketing Automation).
- Collaboration: collaborates with business and corporate colleagues, connects people for cross functional collaboration.
- People leadership & development: ensures the BD function is well organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Coaches, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

**Your background**:

- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
- Minimum 10+ years industry experience
- Seasoned leader with the ability to lead with and without formal authority.
- Passion for customers, quality and technology.
- Strategic thinking of our future, ability to define and drive strategic priorities.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value proposition development.
- Capability to setup non-incremental programs, gradually re-balance portfolio with organic and inorganic investments
- Ability to coach, develop, lead and energize a global organization.
- Broad and deep understanding of Customer engagement and Service business.
- C-suite engagement and leadership.
- Be curious of testing out new things.
