The Associate Director Development will coordinate the roadmap of our _Integrated Decisions and Analytics Engine_ with our IT partners through business integration, proof-of-concept prototyping, and capability scaling. Acting as a primary point of contact with our IT partners, engaging with and representing the needs and priorities of the business. The Associate Director Development will also be an active support of other pricing and tenders’ capabilities managed by the team. This role is central to enable needs of our global, regional/franchise, and local market access and pricing organizations as well as other business partners. Responsible for leading the development and implementation of a strategic roadmap for the system. Acting as a conduit between users and the development team, ensuring that the system meets the expectations of stakeholders and representing the needs and priorities of the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their current requirements, collect additional insights from global and market-based stakeholders for proposed and future capabilities, analyze gaps, and transform them into finished systems.
- Provide business perspective to the IT partners and collect additional insight from global and market-based stakeholders for proposed and future capabilities, to support the development and delivery of the solutions at the enterprise level, based on the stack of requirements.
- Use AGILE methodologies and participating in IT-led workstreams representing the data and analysis needs of the organization,
- Ensure the quality of data and capabilities through proper data governance and stewardship, leveraging the operations and stewardship teams as needed.
- Identify issues to remediate and prioritize when relevant.
- Increase full system capability recognition and usage across the organization.
- Provide ongoing expertise and conduct system coaching as a leader with a focus on continuous improvement and productivity together with the department representatives.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of value delivery and business needs.
- Ensure development and deliverables enable long-term value.
- Create implementation proposals and support management in their engagement with existing customers; represent the team in general presentations.
- Corporate and business-level strategy: Contribute to corporate and business-level strategy by working closely with partners across functions (such as product, pricing, sales, marketing, and finance) to set strategy and drive key business initiatives.
- Strong communication skills.
- Innovation and Digitalization experience.
- Strong collaboration skill and the ability to work cross functionally, together with the ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at various levels within corporation.
- Fluency in English.
Our Market Access team monitor population demographics and develop solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our medicines create value in society.
**THE COMPANY**
Our company has had a presence in Switzerland since 1963. With a regional office and manufacturing/packaging facility, Lucerne is considered the center of operations. Approximately 1,000 people work collaboratively at the four Lucerne locations (Tribschenstrasse, Citybay, Schachen and Kriens). A fifth location has been recently established in Zurich, aimed at accelerating the development and commercialization of many of our company’s medicines and vaccines, which supports our mission to save and improve lives around the world. The new location has a target date of 2021 for operational readiness.
