As Head of Communications, ABB E-mobility, you will develop communication plans, policies, standards, material and content for ABB E-mobility, increasing awareness and engagement of the ABB E-mobility brand globally with internal and external stakeholders.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develops and ensures a coherent, integrated communications strategy and brand positioning throughout the business.
- Building a strong network across the business and coaching Communication Specialists in the business ensuring a common alignment
- Developing and recommending communication programs and messages including marketing communications, publicity, editorial support, web content, and direct marketing to educate and inform key stakeholders
- Developing media relations strategy including responses to positive and negative inquiries from externals sources - includes crisis and issue-related media and social media escalations and responses.
- Serving as consultant to the global business leadership team
- Providing management guidance and developing ABB E-mobility messages to key events such as investor and employee meetings in line with corporate branding strategy
- Budget responsibility

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, mass communication, or related area
- Minimum of 10 years senior communication leadership experience
- Fluent native English speaker a must, German a plus as well as other languages
- Excellent written communication and editing skills and managing agencies
- Ability to create and nurture strong and sustainable relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders and to effectively interact and counsel senior management from diverse backgrounds with a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and take independent action where necessary
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, hands-on approach, with an appetite to join and help build a growing communications team
