In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a business partner to the IS Function Head and Finance FP&A Head to monitor and improve the overall financial performance of the Information Systems function. Supports effective business decision-making by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Serves as the key partner to the IS Function Head and Finance FP&A Head and provides support in developing functional strategy and implementation of the operational plans
- Ensures high quality of financial data and business information, in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
- Contributes to the definition of key performance indicators, monitors the financial performance of the function, identifies issues, and advises the management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve them.
- Drives appropriate cost structure and productivity optimization.
- Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations.
- Oversees the business planning and performance process and serves as the interface amongst relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluates financial implications of various business decisions and recommends actions.
- Establishes and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives that support strategic goals. Ensures continuous improvement in the financial control process, in alignment with global standards and local policies.
- Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for their area of responsibility.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- At least 8 years of experience in business controlling with strong exposure to the Information Systems function
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player, good leadership quality
- Fluent in English, strong communication skills
- Experience with MS Office, SAP experience preferred
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
- Familiar with financial and management reporting in a large company
- Ability to implement change and introduce best practice initiatives
