**Turnkey Solutions Lead EMEA**:
In this role you will play an important part in advancing and implementing our Europe region product and services strategy. You will be essential in building a new end-to-end, turnkey electric vehicle charging solution for up-and-coming chargepoint operators (CPOs). This includes the charging hardware (all-in-one & split), software (CPMS, EMSP, service tools) and onsite related components to connect to the power grid. We consider moving to an all-in-one offering for CPOs as a natural evolution of our product portfolio. In this context, you will be responsible for steering requirements specifications derived from the needs of passenger and commercial vehicle charging operators. Moreover, you will be directly overseeing development of the required software elements (CPMS, EMSP, service portal) based on the feature sets demanded by our customers and best market practices. Consequently, this position covers a wide array of tasks, ranging from market and customer assessment, product requirements specification, understanding of EVCI software and hardware standards (ISO15118, OCPP), integrated solution development, project management, evolving the corresponding pricing approach and ultimately execution of the go-to-market. We are looking for someone who is excited to embark on a longer-term journey with ABB E-mobility. This is a great role for someone that is seeking exposure to and is ready to lead several aspects of a growing business, including product marketing, strategy, hardware and software, go-to-market, and sales operations.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute charging network strategy, including technical solutions which aligns with our organizational priorities
- Drive demand projections including full scope of commercial requirements, site selection & layouts, hardware and software development and own the relationship with our partners
- Work closely with hard and software product teams to advance technical specifications to ensure key market trends and customer requirements are considered early in the development process
- Push business development based on your knowledge of our customer’s agenda and strategy, together with our sales organization
- Work with our finance function to ensure a harmonized approach to pricing and a robust financial forecasting and planning process
- Review and further advancing our approach to service level agreements (SLAs) with our customers in the context of turnkey CPO solutions
**Your background**:
- Extensive knowledge of e-mobility infrastructure, charging and/or the mobility industry
- Strong network with leaders in the e-mobility industry specifically with charge point operators, mobility retailers, real estate players and EVSE companies
- Experience working with fuel retailers, CPOs and fleet operators to develop their operator offerings (e.g., charging depots with optimal charging technology to maximize fleet utilization)
- Deep understanding of software used by CPOs (backend CPMS, frontend platforms/apps/EMSP, payment systems) to enable supervision of developers and regular code reviews
- Experience with advanced modelling capabilities in e-mobility charging topics (from demand modelling and business case development to advanced analytics models for dynamic charger location selection)
- Strong consultant who thrives in conceptional tasks and who is comfortable working in a dynamic and uncertain environment, with direct exposure to top-level management
- Ability to grasp complicated matters fast and capability to break down and solve multi-facetted problems
- Ideally you also understand the needs of CPOs in emerging countries in Southern and Eastern Europe as these are the fastest growing markets and a focus for ABB E-mobility going forward
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree, or higher in engineering, business administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Language skills from Eastern European countries are a plus
