Senior Abacus Application Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Digital Transformation team based in Zurich & Berne as Senior Abacus Application Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary technical lead for the Abacus ERP, overseeing integration, operation, troubleshooting, and future development aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement mid- to long-term roadmaps for ERP enhancements and oversee associated project costs.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the ERP system, including managing data connectivity, interfaces, and system updates.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, translating organizational needs into effective ERP solutions, particularly in finance, HR, and project management.
  • Provide expert-level support to Abacus users, resolving complex technical and functional issues, and coordinating with business users, IT, and external implementation partners.
  • Plan and conduct regular training sessions, develop user documentation, and maintain knowledge pages on the intranet.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience specifically in managing and maintaining Abacus ERP systems, with strong hands-on expertise in Abacus functions, especially in finance modules.
  • Mastery's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, with complementary experience in the other domain.
  • Advanced understanding of ERP systems, data connectivity, and interface development.
  • Skillful in cross-functional team collaboration and adept at communicating technical solutions to business users across hierarchy levels.
  • Proficient in English (working proficiency). German, French, or Spanish is beneficial.
