Cloud Business Development Expert for Strategic Partnerships

This partnership enables us to proactively identify and pursue new cloud business opportunities, address the Eviden Cloud portfolio with suitable offerings, and develop innovative sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact person for the OneCloud in a dedicated industry, handling all cloud-specific inquiries and requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new Cloud projects and project extensions, focusing on cloud solutions for both existing and new customers in collaboration with sales managers from the industry.
  • Conduct continuous analysis of customers and global market trends to identify cloud business potential, requirements, and competition.
  • Identify and engage with new customers, including following up on corporate marketing leads.
  • Perform industry-specific analysis of customer requirements and provide consulting services to meet their needs.
  • Track and manage cloud business opportunities by collaborating with relevant departments and external partners at local and global levels.
  • Present and communicate the Eviden Cloud solution portfolio effectively to customers, interested parties, and Director- and C-Level stakeholders in English and German.
  • Orchestrate, prioritize, and process the industry-specific cloud pipeline, along with corresponding presales activities and bid processes.
  • Prepare and review proposals, emphasizing the accuracy of fit between the solution and customer requirements, clear communication of added value, target price, price structure, conditions, references, profiles, and back-2-back agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in IT, preferably in consulting, presales, or sales roles, with a minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience.
  • A strong professional network and in-depth understanding of the Swiss market are essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure advantageous contracts for both the company and the client.
  • Effective presentation skills to executives and decision-makers.
  • In-depth industry knowledge and sustainable customer relationships in at least one industry (Public, Financial Services, Telco & Media, Manufacturing, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Energy).
  • Sales experience with medium-sized and large customers, including complex structures.
  • Confident, engaging, and winning demeanor when interacting with customers and management.
  • High self-motivation and enthusiasm for cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German.
