Project Management Officer - Bid and Project

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team in Villeneuve, Switzerland. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing the complexities of project tenders and execution within the railway sector, supporting our Service growth strategy in CH and for the site Villeneuve.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects in compliance with Alstom's standards and SBB quality requirements.
  • Support the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and commercial requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Track project progress, preparing regular status reports for stakeholders, while identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders; organize project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
  • Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards, customer expectations, and environmental regulations, supporting the green agenda of train refurbishments.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes, KPIs, and templates.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • First experience in a similar position is an advantage.
  • Interest in the Railway Industry/Railway Transport Segment.
Competencies and Skills:
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Multilingual proficiency (e.g., French, German) is highly advantageous in a diverse region like Suisse Romande.
