Project Management Officer

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team in Villeneuve. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a vital role in managing the complexities of project tenders and execution within the railway sector.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects in compliance with Alstom's standards and SBB quality requirements.
- Support the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and commercial requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Track project progress, preparing regular status reports for stakeholders, while identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders; organize project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
- Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards, customer expectations, and environmental regulations, supporting the green agenda of train refurbishments.
- Master degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- First experience in similar position is an advantage.
- Interest in Railway Industry / Railway Transport Segment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Multilingual proficiency (e.g., French, German) is highly advantageous in a diverse region like Suisse Romande.
