Project Management Officer - Bid and Project

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team in Villeneuve, Switzerland. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a vital role in managing the complexities of project tenders and execution within the railway sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Collaborate with project managers to plan, execute, and close projects in compliance with Alstom's standards and SBB quality requirements.
  • Tender Management: Support the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and commercial requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, preparing regular status reports for stakeholders, while identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Coordination: Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders; organize project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards, customer expectations, and environmental regulations, supporting the green agenda of train refurbishments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes, KPIs, and templates.
Requirements:
  • Educational Requirements: Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: First experience in a similar position is an advantage.
  • Competencies & Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in project management software and tools; multilingual proficiency (e.g., French, German) is highly advantageous.
