Job Opportunity: Volunteer Office Coordinator for IARPO

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to fill the role of Volunteer Office Coordinator. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in office management, develop your skills in digital tools, and contribute to the mission of the International Association of Recognized Police Officers (IARPO).

Salary: CHF 25 per month (mobile phone costs) and transportation ticket for Zone 110 Zürich.

Job Description

The Volunteer Office Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the virtual office, managing digital files and correspondence, and facilitating virtual meetings and webinars. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in office management or administrative roles and be proficient in digital tools such as Google Tools and Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Administration: Manage the virtual office, organize schedules, and maintain digital files.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal communication and liaise with stakeholders, volunteers, and members.
  • Resource Management: Track, manage, and procure office resources, including digital tools and subscriptions.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing virtual and in-person events.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on office activities and assist the leadership team with data collection.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in office management or administrative roles.
  • Proficient in digital tools such as Google Tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
