Senior Volunteer Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Volunteer Manager to join our team at FIFA in Zurich.

We are seeking an exceptional individual with strong leadership skills and experience in volunteer management, event operations, and program development. This role will play a key part in delivering the FIFA Volunteer Program, working closely with the FIFA Local Entities team and other stakeholders.

About the Role:
  • This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • You will lead the project of organizing some of the biggest sport events in the world, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with FIFA standards and policies.
  • Key responsibilities include creating comprehensive operations' guidelines & templates, training and coaching local entities and committees, and contributing to innovative ideas for improving the FIFA Volunteer program.
About You:

We are looking for a talented professional with:

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in senior roles within volunteer management, event management, or operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of the business of sports, preferably with prior experience in global sports events or FIFA events.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as effective relationship management skills.
  • Fluency in English, conversational French, Portuguese, Spanish, and other additional languages beneficial.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
