Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team as a Banqueting Supervisor. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of high-end banquets and events at our hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Assistant Banqueting Manager in the coordination of banquets and events
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, including audiovisual equipment and decor
- Work closely with the culinary team to create customized menus for events
- Manage event timelines and budgets to ensure seamless execution
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
- Diploma or degree in hospitality or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in banquet coordination or a similar role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of audiovisual equipment and technical aspects of events
