Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Support and Sanctions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Sanctions and Regulatory Compliance
    • Support and advise compliance officers on sanction-related topics
    • Monitor regulatory updates and analyze their impact on our client database
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports to pilot Compliance activity
    • Contribute to the bank's monitoring of key risk indicators
    • Support ad-hoc reporting requests, including audits and regulatory reviews
  • Projects and Process Improvement
    • Assist in managing projects impacting the Compliance department
    • Optimize internal processes and guidelines
  • Communication and Support
    • Draft internal memos and presentations
    • Support and advise management

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Swiss banking and financial laws, with expertise in Financial Sanctions a plus
  • Analytical and methodological approach
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in French and English, with German a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent command of PowerPoint
  • Proficient with Excel (VBA), Tableau, Business Object, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage high workloads
  • Strong team player with a passion for working in a multicultural, dynamic, technological, and international environment

Background

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Laws or Economics with a passion for data analysis, or Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering/Data Management with a passion for Compliance and regulatory topics
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the financial industry
