Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the development of innovative technical solutions that meet the diverse needs of our global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in new-product development projects to ensure they meet technical, quality, commercial, and operational objectives.
- Meet with customers to determine potential product development opportunities to improve overall business performance and portfolio.
- Guide the development and implementation of new products, working closely with manufacturing, quality, and commercial management.
- Act as an internal interface between sales, manufacturing, and the product teams to identify customer requirements, emerging trends, and benchmarking competition offerings.
- Actively participate in preparing product application reviews, writing technical files (product specifications, identification, and test files, etc.).
- Maintain and develop continuously technical knowledge.
Education:
- Master's or PhD degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years in a similar role within a multicultural and international environment.
- In-depth experience in one or several related industries.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams, and navigate foreign cultures.
Technical Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of applications and their terminologies related to our segments specified products from a global perspective (materials, design, technology, development, and testing).
- Active listening to customers and able to come up with technical solutions.
- Project management skills with the ability to get involved in a project, provide results with a good follow-up of the constraints: schedules, deliverables, reporting, risks, setting priorities.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in another EU language or Chinese is a strong plus.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Ability to approach challenges with innovative and unconventional solutions, thinking beyond traditional methods to drive growth and efficiency.

Aritec New Materials Group AG is a Swiss company that develops, designs, manufactures, and refines synthetic fibers for industrial applications. Our technologies and products can be used for a large range of industrial applications, where they replace steel wire ropes.
