Job Overview

This key position involves coordinating the development of innovative technical solutions to meet the diverse needs of our global customers. As a crucial bridge between our headquarters in Switzerland and manufacturing plants as well as global R&D teams, you will require excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Proficiency in another European language or Chinese is highly regarded.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in new-product development projects to ensure they meet technical, quality, commercial, and operation objectives
  • Maintain close relationships with customers to determine potential product development opportunities, enhancing overall business performance and portfolio
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and commercial management to guide the development and implementation of new products
  • Act as internal interface between sales, manufacturing, and product teams to identify customer requirements, emerging trends, and benchmarking competition offerings
  • Prepare product application reviews, write technical files, and maintain continuous technical knowledge

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's or PhD degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role within a multicultural and international environment
  • In-depth experience in one or several related industries, such as rubber, cabling, mining, or construction
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams, and navigate foreign cultures
