**Job Title:** Facilities Coordinator Space Planning Specialist

For our growing Facility Management organization at a client in the Technology sector in Zürich, we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Facilities Coordinator - Space Planning 100%.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring all specific facilities issues are logged and remedial actions are completed proactively.
  • Action space-related tickets promptly and accurately, provide timely responses, and manage overall traffic.
  • You will utilize systems for recording activities and projects.
  • Plan and review team numbers and co-location requests to optimize available space.
  • Create and motivate move strategies and follow up moves for newly open space.
  • Demonstrate success by striving to excel in the delivery of KPIs and SLAs for your site.
  • Regular communication and reporting to Client Facilities Leads.
  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of FM services and manage third-party suppliers/vendors associated with the implementation and delivery of minor space projects/works, office moves, relocations, and furniture installations.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including supplier health and safety inductions, RAMS review and approval, appropriate permit-to-works are in place, and review of practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong communications and relationships with various business partners.
  • You will provide management guidance and lead the team, including overseeing the allocation of work, attendance, and performance management to exceed customer expectations and ensure best practice prevails.

 

**Requirements:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English language.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Displays proactive day-to-day problem-solving, with ownership and pride.
  • A highly motivated individual with excellent use of initiative and demonstrates a strong passion for service excellence and understanding customer needs.
  • Experienced working in the service industry in a customer-facing role.
  • BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF PLANNING AND MANAGING SMALLER PROJECTS.
  • A basic understanding of good health and safety practices, engages in health and safety culture.
