Strategic Space Planner

Job Description:

At CBRE GWS GmbH, we are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Coordinator - Space Planning to join our growing Facility Management organization in Zürich (ZH).

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all specific facilities issues are logged and remedial actions are completed proactively. This includes actioning space-related tickets promptly and accurately, providing timely responses, and managing overall traffic.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Log and resolve facilities issues proactively.
  • Action space-related tickets and manage overall traffic.
  • Utilize systems for recording activities and projects.
  • Plan and review team numbers and co-location requests to optimize available space.
  • Create and motivate move strategies and follow up moves for newly open space.
  • Demonstrate success by striving to excel in the delivery of KPIs and SLAs for the site.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, including supplier Health & Safety inductions and RAMS review and approval.
  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of FM services and manage third-party suppliers/vendors associated with the implementation and delivery of minor Space Projects/Works, office moves, relocations, and furniture installations.


Requirements:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English language.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive day-to-day problem-solving with ownership and pride.
  • A highly motivated individual with excellent use of initiative and a strong passion for service excellence and understanding customer needs.
  • Experience working in the service industry in a customer-facing role.
  • Basic understanding of planning and managing smaller projects.
  • A basic understanding of good Health & Safety practices and a commitment to a Health & Safety culture.
