Job DescriptionThe Site Operations Department at Vantage Data Centers is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers. The team is staffed 24/7 onsite with Critical Facilities Technicians (CFTs) working on shift.
This role is an important member of our facilities team where we manage some of the most efficient and cost-effective data center facilities in the industry.
The successful candidate for this role will work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure.
We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the completion of maintenance activities to the highest quality level of planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure the full reliability of the infrastructures with a focus on continuity of services, energy efficiency, and budgetary constraints.
- Use the BMS (Backup Management System) and all available systems and perform regular walkthroughs to stay up-to-date with the appropriate monitoring on site.
- Technical training (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following fields: electricity (electric generators, UPS, low-voltage distribution), air conditioning, fire and physical safety and security (access control, video, and anti-intrusion systems) or centralized building management systems.
- Data Center experience, ideally in data center operations or similar mission-critical environments preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems, and building management/automation equipment.
- Supervision of Level II, III, and IV maintenance works on the site infrastructure.
- Proven skills in the use of software, such as BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and MS Project.
- Candidates must possess reliable transportation for reporting to work for shifts or emergencies.
- Fluent English language required.
We offer a comprehensive total compensation package, including a competitive salary and benefits that exceed local expectations.
Our hard and efficient work is rewarded with above-market total compensation, including a base salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and bonuses.
