About the Job
The Customer Success team seeks a Renewal Business Development Professional to enhance customer retention and renewal strategy.
This role will ensure timely execution of renewal processes and contracts, design programs that optimize customer relationship strategies, and boost loyalty and retention initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for win/win negotiation strategies in complex contract renewals.
- Own, drive, and manage renewals process in collaboration with account teams.
- Ensure successful and on-time renewals for assigned accounts prior to contract end dates.
- Present renewal proposals and options to customers, notifying them proactively of upcoming contract expirations.
- Partner with Account Executives/CSMs/Enterprise Negotiations, Licensing Operations, and Sales Operations to develop clear renewal strategies.
- Provide rapid responses to customer/CSM requests, including sales processing procedures.
- Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management and commercial capabilities.
- Secure and validate renewal orders, driving maximum renewal and up-selling from the install base.
- Fluency in German and English; an additional language is beneficial.
Location and Work Environment
Work Location: Zurich, Switzerland. We offer a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business subject (or equivalent qualifications).
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proven record of complex solution selling.
- Negotiation skills.
- Understanding of software licensing concepts and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and interact productively with all levels of staff.
- Strategic sales techniques and principles, specifically in the hardware and software industry.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
Estimated Salary Range
In the Zurich area, we estimate the salary range for this position to be between CHF 90,000 - 120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
