Job Description:

We are looking for an Operational Office Manager to join our growing Facility Management organization at a client in Zurich (ZH). The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors and providing professional support to clients, staff, and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day operational office coordination
  • Provide first-level support to employees for AV, IT, and office-related topics
  • Oversee mailroom activities, including incoming and outgoing letters, courier services, and tracking activity
  • Support collaboration with Area Facilities Managers on health and safety, compliance, work permits, BCP, risk assessments, and accident/near-miss reporting
  • Coordinate switchboard activities, ensuring adherence to client procedures
Person Specification/Requirements:
  • Prior experience in office management, front-of-house, reception, or customer-facing roles (essential)
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and IT literacy
  • Numerical skills and some financial acumen
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

We require fluency in German, with basic verbal knowledge of French and English.
