About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our membership base and increasing product integration within various tech platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Membership Growth: Focus on increasing membership within the luxury market segment by identifying potential brands and initiating contact with stakeholders.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to onboard luxury brands and encourage utilization of services.
  • Revenue Growth: Aim to maximize revenue and market share in the luxury segment by analyzing performance data and making forecasts.
  • Brand Alignment: Understand brand needs and demonstrate how solutions meet these needs.
  • Pitching and Presentation: Oversee the creation of pitching tools, ensuring they are brand-aligned and efficient, and work closely with internal teams to enhance pitching materials.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and act on opportunities for process improvement and maintain adherence to company policies, industry standards, and ethical practices in all sales activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within the luxury sector (e.g., jewelry, watches, yachting, automobiles, wine & spirits, fashion).
  • Skillset: Proven experience selling SaaS backend solutions covering value chain processes, strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and proficiency in English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time.
