About the Role

Argenx is seeking a dynamic and visionary Sales & Marketing Associate Director to achieve the commercial objectives of Vyvgart in Switzerland & Austria (CHAT). The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy and promotional initiatives, including omnichannel activities for the brand VYVGART for CHAT, leveraging the strategy & assets developed by the EMEA & CHAT team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify opportunities to accelerate growth of the brand VYVGART in CHAT, in partnership with the CHAT & EMEA teams
  • Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy and promotional initiatives, including omnichannel activities for the brand VYVGART for CHAT
  • Promote safe and adequate use of our product, in accordance with the product label to ensure that the benefits and long-term value of the product are fully understood and recognized
  • Achieve commercial objectives, including owning, driving & developing territory and account plans, including customer targeting, in line with country strategy and in partnership with the local Medical Affairs team
  • Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to ensure competitive advantage, after developing a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Ensure sales and marketing efforts maximize returns on assets while achieving the strategic goals within business policies
  • Manage and execute local meetings for physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and optimal care, in strong collaboration and partnership with the Medical Affairs Team
  • Collaborate with global marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment with overall corporate strategy
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies accordingly
  • Represent the company at local and national events and congresses
  • Conduct business activities to highest ethical standards in accordance with countries code of practice and local laws and regulations
  • Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation
  • Provide regular reporting on performance, forecasting, and market insights to the senior management team

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales and marketing, with a strong track record of success
  • Previous experience working in rare diseases and therapeutic areas that are similar or analogous to those being explored by argenx
  • Well-established, deep network across the industry in Switzerland and Austria and possess competitive and market intelligence
  • Proven marketing acumen, with: with a data-driven and analytical approach to building new businesses hands-on experience in the development and execution of marketing campaigns in Switzerland and Austria
  • First sales leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a results-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Field based position with significantly travelling
  • Fluency in English and German is required. French and/or Italian is required
