Job Title: European Sales Director


Job Summary:


The Regional Sales Director/Manager will lead commercial activities in the assigned European region. As a Sales professional, you will partner with our company to contribute to our goals and customer needs. In this position, you will be responsible for developing key customers and increasing the customer base in the assigned territory. You will also extensively build customer relationships and provide comprehensive support to our customers. You will utilize your existing knowledge and continue to familiarize yourself with drug product development and production processes, including microbial, cell, and gene therapies.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage commercial activities through customer-facing visits, presentations, phone calls, and emails as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans.
  • Extend and develop relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand and communicate to customers technically.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
  • Attend tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events as necessary.
  • Analyze customer profiles to strategize engagements.
  • Report internally across departments on territory sales achievements and opportunities.

Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline. 3+ years of related bioindustry experience developing, manufacturing, or using recombinant proteins.


Preferred Qualifications:


Master's degree or above in a related field. Previous experience in Sales or other customer-facing related roles.

Compensation:


Salary Range: $50,000 – $100,000 DOE + commission.
