Business Development Specialist

As a Business Development Specialist - LNG, you will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and developing and managing relationships with mid to long-term counterparties in line with MET LNG desk strategy. Your strong understanding of mid to long-term supply and demand dynamics in the gas and LNG sector will enable you to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
Responsibilities
• Create new business opportunities and develop and manage relationships with mid to long-term counterparties
• Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the gas and LNG sector
• Analyze and assess mid to long-term supply and demand dynamics in the gas and LNG sector
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business development goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
Qualifications
• Several years of relevant experience in LNG-related business development or origination
• Strong understanding of mid to long-term supply and demand dynamics in the gas and LNG sector
• Proven track record in identifying and creating new business opportunities within LNG sector
• Skilled in screening potential counterparties for mid to long-term sales and purchases
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage risks
• Established professional network in the Turkish, Middle East and African region
• Strong interpersonal skills and business fluency in English and additional language relevant to the region covered
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field
