Operations Support Director

The role of Operations Support Supervisor at Novartis Farmacéutica involves effectively managing the connection between the Flight Department Team and external service providers. This includes robust supervision of all related flight planning functions, with a focus on administrative duties such as invoice management and budget control.
This position will oversee the vendor's flight planning, flight support, briefings, and in-flight monitoring. Additionally, it coordinates information exchange between flight crews, external vendors, booking agents, and internal departments.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise the external service provider in flight preparation, planning, support, and in-flight monitoring to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Mediate as the critical link between the flight crew, internal departments, external service providers, and booking agents.
- Coordinate with booking agents and certify proper processing of all flight requests via designated booking tools.
- Establish smooth coordination and communication with all departments.
- Conduct regular audits with the external service provider in collaboration with the Aviation Compliance Manager.
- Manage administrative duties such as invoice management according to the P2P process to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Handle the management of annual budgets by controlling costs on a monthly basis, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
- Proven experience in aviation is required, preferably in OPS planning and ground operations management.
- Flight Dispatch License is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities are essential.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in a supervisory role, are required.
- Administrative management skills, especially in invoice management and budget control, are needed.
