Ebury, a leading FinTech firm, is seeking a talented New Business Developer to join our team in Zurich. As a dynamic and growth-oriented company, we offer a range of products and services that cater to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and SME+ operating internationally.

Job Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills and expertise in FinTech sales, working with industry-leading professionals and leveraging our cutting-edge training academy. Our meritocratic environment ensures that your success and efforts are recognized and rewarded.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, and possess excellent communication skills. You will have a strong interest in finance and economics, as well as a basic knowledge of financial markets.

About the Role

As a New Business Developer, your primary responsibility will be to expand Ebury's customer base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This will involve:

  • Generating leads through cold-calling and data-driven lead sourcing technology, Sonar.
  • Researching clients and sectors to identify potential needs and solutions offered by Ebury.
  • Presenting Ebury services and creating solutions for clients' foreign exchange, hedging, payment, and trade finance requirements.
  • Managing relationships with account management teams to speed up the conversion from sign-up to first trade.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrable commercial experience and research skills.
  • A degree-level education and native fluency in Swiss-German, with fluent English language skills.
