Sales Development Manager

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Geneva. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying new business opportunities in the DC & AC traction power market, both in existing and new customers in the rail industry.
- Managing existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Promoting and preparing bids for tenders and acquisitions, aligning with our company's strategy and goals.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key global rolling stock and substations manufacturers, driving business growth and expansion.
- Providing technical expertise and driving customer-oriented activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our customers.
- Implementing company strategies and contributing to the development of our sales team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales to the railway industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in business development and building new client relationships, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20-30% of the time, with a valid passport and ability to adapt to different cultures and time zones.
- Customer-oriented personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration, with a strong understanding of the railway industry and its challenges.
- Proficiency in English at C1 level, with French as a native language.
- Strong technical understanding and analytical skills, with the ability to focus on complex problems and find creative solutions.
