As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in selected markets in the region. This includes prospecting and developing new potential accounts, with a focus on business development and expansion.

You will manage all commercial interactions with customers, including forecasts, sales planning, individual purchases, supply contracts, and price negotiations. Regular customer visits are essential to build, maintain, and manage relationships.

Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with our suppliers based in Asia and Europe through joint visits and regular reporting, to support mutual growth of our joint businesses.

Conduct competitor mapping, market surveys, and innovation scouting to stay ahead of regulatory trends and changes that impact the industry.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in chemistry or a technical qualification in the chemical industry
  • Relevant sales experience with specialty raw materials for the chemical industry in Switzerland
  • Very good knowledge of German and English; French would be an advantage
  • Strong customer and service orientation, with a proven track record in developing and winning new business
  • A pragmatic and entrepreneurial approach, self-driven
  • An independent, proactive, precise, and pragmatic working style
  • A resilient, flexible, and team-oriented personality
