Business Applications Support Specialist L1

Your responsibilities

- Provide first-line support for SAP SD-related issues, addressing business users' inquiries and ensuring timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges across sales, customer service, inventory management, and order processing modules.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Process Excellence team to identify areas for process improvements and ensure best practices for SAP usage across regions.
- Assist in testing new system functionalities and updates, ensuring smooth and efficient rollouts.
- Ensure data integrity within SAP, supporting compliance with internal audits and best practices.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, FAQs, and process documentation to enhance SAP user proficiency.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to improve user understanding and optimize system usage.
- Help manage SAP usage within cost centers, assist with budgeting, and ensure efficient workload management.
- Escalate more complex issues to Level 2 support or the appropriate departments for further resolution.

Your qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP support experience, ideally in commercial or supply chain environments.
- Proficiency in SAP SD, MM, WM.
- Experience with Master Data Management processes.
- Fluency in both English and German (additional languages are a bonus).
- A strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A customer-focused, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
- The ability to thrive independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
