Who we are looking for
We are looking for an Intern who would like to make an impact, serving Symbiotics’ client base of European asset managers and institutional investors. You will help us to improve our processes, establish high standards of client services and facilitate our sales efforts across our target markets.
The position is based in Geneva and will be reporting to the Sales Manager in Switzerland.
About the Job
AML/KYC & other regulatory duties
Fill-in legal documents related to client due diligence and onboarding, notably confidentiality agreements and AML/KYC forms, including maintaining Worldcheck background checks (Pre-Sales & Sales, Client Support, CRM,AML,Event etc.)
Keep record of all legal documents and proceed with timely reviews/updates
Ensure back-up of similar role based in Paris for the EU/AIFM scope (in case of absence and for business continuity)
CRM management (MS Dynamics)
Keep the CRM up to date and complete (contacts/ activities/opportunities)
Enrich the use of the CRM tool (e.g. reporting functions) for activity monitoring
Client support & reporting
Contribute to timely and accurate delivery of reporting to AIFM clients
Assist the client relations managers in responding to requests by distribution partners
Manage Symbiotics France investor mailbox and answer first level of client questions
Event / webinar / investor communications support
Assist the Sales managers Team in reviewing/negotiating/coordinating SYAM presence at industry or client events, and in organizing own events for professional clients
Assist the Sales manager in the client / press / public relations of SYAM, including prepare and join interviews, attend meetings and events, and join work travels
Pre-Sales and sales support
Institutional market watch and updates, identification of potential targets in the scope,
Targeting and performing 1st outreach to potential clients by way of mail, telephone, social media, professional networks, events
Contribute to proper localization and timely update of marketing documentation, preparation of bilateral meetings
Your Qualification
More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
Enrolled in a University in Switzerland in business / economics or similar
Interest in impact investing, and desire to build knowledge of our business and markets
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Digitally savvy, knowledge of marketing & sales software tools (MS Dynamics, Mailchimp, Sharepoint, MS Office)
Fluent English & French
Swiss work permit required
