The Commercial Sustainability Intern will be part of the restructured transversal corporate sustainability team responsible for accelerating this transformation. This team will help drive Coty’s Beauty That Lasts agenda across its three pillars: Beauty of our Product, Planet, Product and People under the leadership of our CEO Sue Y. Nabi and Chief Scientific & Sustainability Officer Shimei Fan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Commercial Sustainability Intern, you will play a crucial part in mapping out and understanding Sustainability opportunities throughout Coty Retail operations with a deep dive on Travel Retail.
This position provides exposure to the fundamentals of the Prestige Beauty & Travel Retail beauty industry, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the consumer goods business value chain. You'll enhance your awareness and expertise in Sustainability matters within a business context, and there will be opportunities to learn about stakeholder management across various functions and countries. You will have the chance to learn more about brands such as: Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chlo é, Davidoff, Escada, Gucci, Hugo Boss and many more.
**Your main focus**: Conduct a sustainability assessment for the Travel Retail Division Work with the Merchandising team to develop ideas for activations instore, provide competitive assessment. Conduct market research (retailers, peers, broader ecosystem), analyze data, identify best-practices and opportunities to improve sustainability performance. Development of the annual carbon footprint in collaboration with various departments of the company, comparison with previous years. Identifying new avenues to reduce the carbon footprint. Coordinates requests from retailers with rest of the team, brands, markets, corporate affairs and relevant functional data owners, ensure that strategies and content communicated are integrated and consistent with the company’s sustainability targets and commitments. Connects externally to understand new developments in sustainability, new voluntary reporting, new global policies, while also benchmarking industry and competition. Consolidates above to identify new opportunities and solutions for Coty and is capable to ‘market and sell these ideas internally. Provides expertise and upskilling to the travel retail teams to both educate on sustainability best practice and drive a sustainability culture.

You will be reporting into the Senior Vice President of Travel Retail and the Global Head of Sustainability Office.
You will be working with the leadership of the Global Travel Retail team and other internal stakeholders who are committed for bringing further a more responsible, and sustainable future in the beauty business.
