**The opportunity**
Are you a proactive and highly motivated individual who is passionate about working independently on a variety of office managerial duties?
Join our Zurich based Nuclear Energy Risks team, which acts as Swiss Re’s Centre of Excellence and is responsible for the management of the Swiss Nuclear Insurance Pool, an external legal entity for which Swiss Re acts as Management Company. You will report to the Head Nuclear Energy Risks and support with administerial and business-related tasks.
**Key activities**:
- Assistant:
- Act as trusted person and manage calendars, meetings, travels-
- Keep track of deadlines and draft correspondence in German and English-
- Make and co-ordinate arrangements for various internal and external meetings and events; responsible for any administrative and logistic issues upon request-
- Business and underwriting support including:
- Write meeting minutes (mainly in German)-
- Provide administrative support regarding pricing tools, internal systems,-
- Records management and processes for the business relationships in their area of responsibility-
- Timely set-up of accounts / data entry, data quality review, monitor and manage completeness of records, track follow ups, etc.-
- Assist with check wordings, prepare cover notes documents and underwriting documentation-
- Data quality reviews, monitor and manage completeness of records, track follow-ups**About You**- Sound commercial background and service orientated- Reliable and attentive to detail and time management- Excellent numeracy skills and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize requests and deadlines- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly with the highest level of integrity- Ability to work independently, take the initiative and to anticipate possible issues, as well as the ability to respond quickly to challenges- Goal oriented, team player, enthusiast, a "will do" attitude and a positive attitude person by nature- Demonstrates willingness to seek new knowledge and tasks, questions current processes, and able to suggest improvements- Knowledge and understanding of reinsurance principles and practices (experience as Underwriting Support is a plus)- Experience in a similar kind of role- Fluent in German; Swiss German is an advantage. Good command of English- Proficiency with MS Office programs, fast in learning new tools
