Perform active business development activities in line with the strategy and drive the sales of automation, electrification, and digitalization solutions for battery Gigafactories in Europe, participating in sales strategy discussions, proposing goals and budgets and marketing plans. You can be located in France, Germany or Italy and collaborate with a global team.
**This position reports to**:
Business Manager - E2E
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assisting the customers throughout the sales process, while developing business by increasing knowledge of products and markets
- Identifying customer needs and competitors’ offerings through market studies, ensuring that marketing is effective and that communications demonstrate the value proposition of products and services
- Preparing and participating in sales reviews, proposing recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and producing sales reports to assist in resource planning
- Taking ownership of specific cases to ensure customer issues are resolved, and discovering the causes of lost proposals
**Your background**:
- At least 2 years of experience in direct sales, working as area sales manager or similar with complex industry projects in the process
- and manufacturing market
- Knowledge in the areas of automation, electrification, and digitalization
- Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling
- An understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- Fluent English are required
- Other languages like German, Italian or French are meritorious
