**The Opportunity**
The **HR Business Leader, Global Data, Digital & Technology **will be part of the HR team dedicated to support our global DD&T stakeholders.
**OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE**:
- Sets a forward looking “People” agenda for the Global Data & Technology (GDT) Innovation Capability Solutions group and directs the deployment and embedment of the agenda across the teams within this function.
- The “People” agenda will encompass an integrated global approach to building organization capabilities, talent acquisition, engagement, learning, talent management & development, total rewards and people analytics & insights
- Trusted partner to the GD&T Global Head of Innovation Capability Solutions (ICS) and influential member of the ICS Leadership Team. Expected to co-evolve GDT organization and talent strategy, with a deep understanding of Data & Technology including external dynamics and trends.
- Lead global CD&T ICC Site HR Partners indirectly to create a cohesive cross-ICC talent strategy, share best practices, and ensure equity across ICC locations. Strong contributing member of the DD&T HR Talent council.
- Key contributor to both the GD&T HR Leadership team, the Corporate Functions HR Community and Takeda’s Global HR Function who elevates capabilities within and across HR.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Deliver an exceptional people experience within GDT ICS, so everyone can fulfil their potential and enable Takeda’s mission.
- Drive an integrated global approach to organization capabilities, talent acquisition engagement, learning, total rewards, talent management & development, and people analytics & insights.
- Set a short
- and long-term forward-looking people agenda for GDT ICS. Shape GDT ICS leadership team (LT) thinking and the direction of their functional areas
- Lead ICS organization structure changes e.g. building out new locations and capabilities, reshaping jobs or ways of working.
- Active role in ensuring GDT ICS LT effectiveness. Support executive and team development. Elevate the GDT ICS organization’s performance.
- Develop, deploy and embed talent management and learning programs within GDT ICS. Foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Drive organization effectiveness, proactively set an agenda that spans mindset, process, role and organization design, capabilities and measurement/KPIs.
- Steward of the employee experience. Develop and direct the deployment of initiatives that make GDT ICS a great place to work and in turn create a competitive advantage for Takeda. Ensure ongoing feedback loops and multi-way dialogue between employees, GDT ICS LT, COEIs, Takeda People Solutions, etc.
- Oversee cyclical global talent management processes for ICS such as succession/talent planning, performance management and compensation.
- Manage escalated labor and employee relations. Mitigate risk for company, ensure objectivity, consistency, sound judgment and compliance.
- Ensure talent acquisition and total rewards practices are competitive and aligned with ICS’ needs in a highly competitive and volatile talent marketplace.
- Deliver high quality people insights. Course correct as required and inspire step change solutions for the group.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with BU/Functions HRBLs and HR Partners (who support GDT LT), HR COEIs, TBS People Solutions and other Corporate Functions. Partner to create solutions that make an impact when deployed and embedded within GDT ICS..
- Serve as an active member of the HR community of practice comprised of the HRBLs/HR Partners who support members of the GDT LT. Contribute to an environment which inspires people to do their best and is aligned to the Company’s values.
**EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS**:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
- 10 + years HR experience, in lieu of HR experience will consider equivalent experience in a Sr. Leadership position with broad management responsibilities. Prior experience working in top tier consulting is a plus
- Some experience managing direct or indirect teams preferred
- Experience working in Technology space and/or supporting a complex global organization undergoing transformation is preferred
- Experience establishing new technology centers in competitive talent markets and creating attraction retention, and development strategies is a plus
